Job Description
As a Waiter, you bring energy, personality and a passion for service to every shift. You thrive in a fast-paced, social environment and love interacting with guests, making them feel welcome, relaxed and looked after.
In true RED style, your role goes beyond traditional service. You are part of the Front of House experience, supporting across different areas including restaurant service, Meetings & Events, and our Sky Bar. You will:
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience
- Create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere, bringing personality and energy to every interaction
- Take orders, serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately, maintaining high service standards
- Confidently recommend menu items and beverages, including wine, to enhance the guest experience
- Support service across different outlets, including M&E, restaurant and bar areas as needed
- Work proactively to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth service flow during busy periods
- Collaborate closely with your team and other departments to deliver a seamless experience
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation and presentation of service areas at all times
- Follow all health & safety, hygiene and service procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food & beverage or hospitality role is beneficial but not essential
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- A natural host with confidence and personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, Yes I Can! attitude and flexible approach to work
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- An eye for detail
- A team player who enjoys working collaboratively
- Interest in food, drinks and wine is a plus
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Icelandic is an advantage
