People & Culture Administration and Training Officer 

  • As a People & Culture Administration and Training Officer you will be involved in various aspects of people operations related administration,training and coordination. You will work with the People and Culture Team to deliver people administration and training services to the employees and managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain positive employee relations by effectively addressing employee concerns, queries, and suggestions.
  • Coordinate and facilitate recruitment activities, including maintaining an up-to-date CV database for future hiring needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive New Hire Orientation and onboarding programmes to ensure new employees are successfully integrated into the hotel culture and standards.
  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver hotel-wide training programmes, including customer service, Responsible Business, compliance, and operational training.
  • Identify departmental training needs, develop annual training plans, and support Department Heads with coaching, on-the-job training (OJT), and employee development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files, leave records, training records, attendance registers, and other People & Culture databases.
  • Prepare and submit People & Culture reports, correspondence, and other official documentation accurately and within required deadlines.
  • Coordinate People & Culture activities across all departments to ensure effective communication and implementation of HR initiatives.
  • Promote employee engagement and welfare by organizing staff recognition programmes, social events, sports, wellness, and other employee activities.
  • Maintain and update internal communication channels, including notice boards and employee information.
  • Monitor compliance with hotel policies, training standards, and mandatory learning requirements through regular follow-up and workplace observations.
  • Develop and implement training strategies that support business objectives, improve customer service standards, and enhance employee performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning by introducing innovative training methods and supporting competency development across all roles.
  • Arrange meetings, training sessions, and events by coordinating venues, equipment, refreshments, and required materials.
  • Manage office administration, including hotel mail, trace files, stationery supplies, and confidential correspondence.
  • Promote excellent interdepartmental relationships while consistently demonstrating professionalism, a positive attitude, and pride in representing the hotel.
  • Support the hotel's Responsible Business initiatives by actively participating in environmental, social, and community programmes.

Qualifications

Your Profile & Skills: 

  • Proficiency in Workday or similar HRIS tools and Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and able to deal with change in a fast-moving environment.
