Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team on a flexi-job basis. You will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance tasks, ensuring that our facilities, equipment, and premises remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine building and facility maintenance.
- Carry out minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general handyman tasks.
- Inspect equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Conduct preventative maintenance according to established schedules.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
- Liaise with external contractors when specialist repairs are required.
- Support setup and breakdown of equipment or furniture for events or operational needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, or handyman role.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues independently.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable, flexible, and proactive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
