Essential ingredients:

• Currently enrolled in a hotel/hospitality management program or a related HBO-level course.
• Available for a minimum 10-month internship.
• Excellent communication skills: especially in English, and a great addition if you also speak an extra language!
• A passion for event planning and for working with people.
• A positive, energetic attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.

You will learn to:

• Prepare proposals and contracts for social events, based upon the client’s wishes
• Prepare and coordinate site inspections for potential clients, showcasing our meeting and event spaces.
• Support our Sales Team to turn inquiries into booked events.
• Be the main point of contact for clients organizing the event, ensuring every detail of their event runs smoothly.
• Ensure that necessary information is distributed to all hotel departments in order to secure smooth running of Banquet functions;
• Upsell opportunities to enhance clients’ event experiences.
• Handle potential complaints concerning problems related to meetings and or an event;
• Manage administrative tasks such as invoicing and post-event follow-ups.
