Job Description

This role supports Radisson Hotel Group’s hotel and corporate operations, with a primary focus on the MEA and SEAP regions and global involvement in selected projects and corporate functions. The position is responsible for independently managing hotel-related contracts, providing legal support to corporate entities, and advising MEA and SEAP operational teams on a wide range of legal matters in line with company policies. Additional responsibilities include handling contract terminations, litigation, owner relations, and other legal operations, while ensuring compliance with global standards and best practices. The role also requires close coordination with international legal teams (primarily our team based in Singapore and our Business Development Legal Team), as well as the provision of strategic legal advice to advance RHG’s global objectives and long-term growth.

1. Independently draft, review, negotiate, and provide guidance on agreements, amendments, notices, letters, and related documents at the corporate, regional, and hotel levels, ensuring full compliance with company policies and standards, while reporting any significant deviations to the Radisson Hotel Group, MEA & SEAP leadership teams for approval. The role also oversees the contract repository by ensuring the accurate uploading, updating, and maintenance of contractual details, amendments, and owner/licensee information, while tracking contract statuses, including construction milestones and expiration dates.

2. Independently support the MEA & SEAP regional teams by providing legal advice, collaborating on projects, and guiding operational and commercial teams at both regional and central levels, ensuring alignment with company standards and policies. This includes advising and assisting on initiatives led by the regional commercial departments, supporting debt recovery processes in coordination with Operations and Finance, preparing and issuing legal or breach notices in line with agreed approaches, and assisting Operations in reaching settlements with owners.

3. Conduct legal research and, where appropriate, seek and evaluate advice from local attorneys specializing in relevant industries or fields. Manage and coordinate external counsel as needed, particularly in relation to potential disputes, tax matters, and other operational issues.

4. Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of legal policies, templates, procedures, and best practices, ensuring they are clearly understood and consistently applied across relevant departments. Actively participate in the organization’s legal transformation initiatives to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.

5. Support corporate matters for subsidiaries and local branches, including the establishment or liquidation of entities, coordination of board and shareholder meetings, and drafting of resolutions or powers of attorney as needed. Manage corporate secretarial relationships and ensure statutory compliance, including required filings in accordance with company policies and local legal requirements.

6.Coordinate with the RHG global Legal department as required, particularly on regulatory compliance matters including privacy, competition law, international trade regulations, and trademark rights and registrations.

7.Additional support may be required based on the company’s needs.


Qualifications

Minimum Education: Master of law (JD or LLM) from a reputable university.

Minimum Experience: Solid and relevant experience in the Legal Department of a major international company, that allows you to grasp a complex multinational corporate operation and work independently.

Language Skills: Very good command of written and spoken English, knowledge of French/Arabic is a plus.
