Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Learning and Development Executive role based at Radisson Hotel Group in Sagar. The Learning and Development Executive will design, coordinate, and deliver training programs that support service excellence, brand standards, and operational performance across the hotel. Responsibilities include conducting training needs analyses, creating learning content and materials, and facilitating workshops and on-the-job training for team members and leaders. The role will track training attendance, assess learning impact, and provide regular reports and recommendations to management. The Learning and Development Executive will collaborate closely with department heads and HR to support onboarding, career development initiatives, and a culture of continuous learning aligned with Radisson’s “Every Moment Matters” and “Yes I Can!” values.
The Learning & Development Executive will be focused on upskilling all team members at the hotel and support the General Manager to maintain brand standards and quality of guest experience.
- Identify training needs:
- Work with the hotel leadership team to provide training support for any new product or service program launch for the hotel.
- Design Training Programs:
- Ensure latest version of training program is available and used to deliver any training. This must be in line with the CSO/ASO guidelines.
- Deliver Training:
- Must be certified to deliver DNA training programs, such as Yes, I Can! And Responsible Business.
- Delivers onboarding program for all new joiners (90-day journey) as defined by the global team.
- Evaluate Program Effectiveness:
- Evaluate success of the programs (training feedback ratings and knowledge improvement scores).
- Maintains Learning Management System:
- Leads the role of Local Learning Partner for the hotel.
- Ensure all new joiners are onboarded by Human Resources team to access Radisson Academy Online.
- Tracks and communicates completion of Online Onboarding Path and Service Culture training to hotel leadership team.
- Ensure all managers are trained to assign training to their direct reports and check completion status.
- Assign departmental Typsy playlist to all new joiners and track completion.
- Ensure all live session attendance is tracked and marked on RAO.
- Ensure completion of annual compliance training.
- Maintains Brand Standards and Quality
- Acts as the custodian of hotel brand standards and guides hotel to refer to Brand Standards on SharePoint/Hotelkit.
- Ensure certification and contribution of Certified Departmental Trainer
- Conducts monthly OJS Trainer Meet to check the following:
- All trainers are actively involved in conducting training for their department.
- All trainers are publishing their training calendar.
- Topics included in training calendar are in line with the findings in GRI/GSS.
- All trainers are maintaining their training completion report.
- All trainers are submitting the training completion report and training tracker.
- All new joiners are trained on mandatory tasks before assigning duties.
- Conducts monthly OJS Trainer Meet to check the following:
- Maintains training documentation and communication:
- Publishes hotel training calendar every month in advance so departments can nominate their participants.
- Invites nominations from all departments and publish final nominations sheet.
- Ensure all topic related pre-work and post-work is communicated and completed on time.
- Publishes Monthly Training Report to the hotel leadership team.
- Maintains training grid at the hotel level.
- Ensure attendance for all training are tracked and documented.
- Builds relationship with hospitality institutes:
- Partner with Hotel Schools and Skill Development Centres to provide internship opportunities to students as part of their curriculum.
- Ensure positive internship experience:
- Ensure hotel has budgeted number of interns hired in each batch.
- Acts as program manager for interns, ensuring they have a learning plan in place and each departments provides learning opportunities to all students.
- Onboard all interns in a similar manner as all new team members to ensure a positive brand experience.
- Conducts monthly intern meeting to evaluate learning and address any grievances.
- Ensure successful completion of internship for all students and issues them a completion certificate.
- Recognizes intern’s basis performance.
