We are currently seeking a Steward to join our vibrant team. At Radisson Hotel Group, we are in search of individuals who go beyond the resume – those with character, skills, talents, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
As a Steward, be the backbone of our culinary excellence, creating memorable moments for our guests.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen areas, equipment, utensils, and workstations.
Wash, clean, and sanitize kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and other equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, storage areas, and dishwashing sections.
Ensure proper handling, segregation, and disposal of kitchen waste.
Assist with maintaining garbage disposal areas in accordance with hotel hygiene standards.
Support kitchen colleagues with cleaning and basic operational requirements.
Ensure all cleaning chemicals are handled, stored, and used safely.
Follow food safety, health, and safety regulations at all times.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen storage areas.
Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and replenished.
Assist with deep-cleaning activities and scheduled kitchen cleaning.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
Follow hotel policies, procedures, and departmental standards.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor or Executive Chef.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen stewarding team is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
