Job Description
We are looking for an energetic and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our Kitchen Department on a flexible basis. This role supports the kitchen team with food preparation, cleanliness, organization, and day-to-day kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain hygiene standards, and contribute positively to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient handling.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff during meal preparation and service.
- Wash, clean, and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Ensure kitchen areas remain clean and organized at all times.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock and ingredients.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Support the team with additional kitchen-related tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food service experience is an advantage.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexible availability, including mornings,evenings, weekends, or holidays if required.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate loads.
