HEAD BARTENDER – RADISSON HOTEL CAPE TOWN FORESHORE 
Are you shaken, not stirred? We’re searching for a stylish and spirited Head Bartender to lead our vibrant bar team and mix up unforgettable experiences — one cocktail at a time.

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the bar to ensure efficient and professional service.
• Lead, train, coach, and motivate bartenders and bar assistants to maintain high performance standards.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure exceptional guest service by engaging with guests, handling requests, and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Monitor stock levels, place beverage orders, and conduct regular inventory counts to minimize wastage and shortages.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, stock movements, and beverage costs.
• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws, food safety regulations, and hotel policies.
• Develop and recommend new beverage menus, cocktails, and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure accurate processing of transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of all bar areas, equipment, and storage facilities.
• Assist with budgeting, cost control, and achieving departmental financial targets.
• Ensure all bar equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance requirements promptly.

• Proven experience as a Head Bartender or Senior Bartender in a high-end or busy environment.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills — able to motivate and develop your team.
• Personal integrity and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with guests and colleagues.
• Familiarity with POS and inventory management systems.
• A creative mindset and a keen eye for detail.
