Job Description
Radisson Blu Galadari Colombo is seeking a creative and skilled Head Baker to lead our bakery team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality baked goods, maintaining exceptional standards, and contributing to memorable culinary experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all bakery operations, including bread, pastries, desserts, and specialty items
Ensure consistent quality, taste, presentation, and hygiene standards
Plan and develop bakery menus, seasonal specials, and creative offerings
Manage inventory, cost control, and ordering of bakery ingredients
Train, mentor, and supervise junior bakers to enhance skills and efficiency
Maintain compliance with HACCP and company food safety standards
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Head Baker, Pastry Chef, or similar role in a hotel or high-volume bakery
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and presentation standards
Creative mindset and passion for culinary excellence
Leadership, teamwork, and strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
