The Director, Loyalty Partnerships oversees the development and expansion of the Loyalty Partnerships ecosystem for B2C and B2B members, actual and potential. The role is responsible for supporting and implementing the Loyalty Partnerships strategy, identifying and developing strategic partnership opportunities, leading selected high-value negotiations, managing the current partner portfolio, and exploring co-branded and financial partnership opportunities.
The role will work closely with Loyalty Marketing, CRM, Operations, Finance, Legal, and regional stakeholders to ensure successful partnership activation and member engagement initiatives, while managing and developing the Loyalty Partnerships team.
The objective of the role is to increase the commercial contribution, relevance, and engagement of the Loyalty Program beyond hotel stays through strategic partnerships, alliances, and ecosystem development.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Partnership Strategy & Ecosystem Growth
- Support the development and execution of the loyalty partnership strategy aligned with overall business and loyalty objectives.
- Identify and develop strategic partnership opportunities that strengthen the relevance of the loyalty program within members’ everyday travel and lifestyle journeys.
- Help expand the loyalty ecosystem through partnerships across travel, financial services, lifestyle, mobility, entertainment, retail, and digital platforms.
- Support the evaluation and prioritization of partnership opportunities based on strategic fit, member value, commercial potential, and operational feasibility.
Commercial Partnerships & Negotiations
- Lead negotiations for strategically important and high-value partnerships.
- Support and guide the broader team on commercial discussions, contract development, and partnership management.
- Contribute to the development of partnership business cases, commercial models, and long-term value creation opportunities.
- Support the exploration and development of co-branded card and financial partnership opportunities.
Partnership Activation & Performance
- Work cross-functionally with Loyalty Marketing, CRM, Digital, Operations, and Brand teams to support successful partnership launches and member activation initiatives.
- Ensure partnerships are effectively integrated into member communications, campaigns, and engagement initiatives.
- Monitor partnership performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Support reporting and performance tracking across key partnership initiatives.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and develop the Loyalty Partnerships team, providing direction, prioritization, and coaching.
- Foster strong collaboration across internal teams including Marketing, CRM, Finance, Legal, Operations, Technology, and regional stakeholders.
- Build strong working relationships with external partners and senior stakeholders.
- Operate comfortably in a lean and fast-paced environment where strategic leadership and day-to-day execution are both required.
- Support the team across partnership development, presentations, negotiations, launch coordination, and operational follow-up when needed.

Minimum education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Economics or Hotel Management required (MBA preferred)
Minimum experience: 6-8+ years of professional in Partnerships experience, business development, sponsorships.
- Strong experience within EMEA markets is required.
- Experience across APAC markets is considered a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating and managing commercial partnerships.
