Radisson Hotel Group is one of the world's largest hotel groups with ten distinctive hotel brands, and more than 1,500 hotels in operation and under development in 95+ countries. The Group’s overarching brand promise is Every Moment Matters with a signature Yes I Can! service ethos.
People are at the core of our business success and future. Our people are true Moment Makers and together we bring the culture, spirit, environment and opportunities that empower you to be your best, every day, everywhere, every time. Together, we make Every Moment Matter.
The Business Development Manager supports the growth of Radisson Hotel Group's portfolio across the region by identifying, qualifying, and advancing signing opportunities across all RHG brands. Acting as a first-line engine for pipeline generation, the role combines proactive market sourcing, deal support for senior development staff, and ownership of industry events and networking activations. The BDM plays a central role in translating market intelligence into actionable leads and ensuring every owner or investor touchpoint reflects RHG's brand and commercial proposition.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Market Sourcing & Lead Generation
- Proactively identifies and researches new signing opportunities across new and existing markets, including new-builds, conversions, and rebranding prospects
- Generates leads through sustained outreach to developers, brokers, consultants, private equity investors, independent hotel operators, and government tourism bodies
- Runs outbound campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn, referral networks) to build and maintain a live pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of all lead activity, owner interactions, and deal progression in CRM
- Conducts preliminary market research and feasibility screening to qualify prospects before escalation to senior development staff
- Monitors competitor activity, market trends, and transaction intelligence to identify pipeline opportunities and refine go-to-market targeting
2. Deal Support & Development Execution
- Supports VPs and Directors through the full deal lifecycle — from initial qualification through PAR submission, contract negotiation, and signing
- Prepares project analysis documents, financial models, brand fit assessments, and development committee presentations
- Assists in drafting and customizing owner proposals, HMA term sheets, and presentation materials tailored to each prospect's profile and objectives
- Coordinates with Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure all submissions meet RHG's brand standards, compliance requirements, and financial thresholds
- Follows up with prospective owners and investors to maintain deal momentum and support senior team members in closing
- Serves as a coordination point between the development team and internal stakeholders during the pre-opening phase
3. Events, Conferences & Owner Engagement
- Owns the regional events calendar for the development team — identifying, planning, and coordinating RHG's participation in key industry conferences, investment summits, and owner forums (e.g., SEAHIS, HICAP, AMTIHT, REITAS)
- Manages logistics for RHG-hosted owner events, roundtables, and site visits, ensuring seamless execution and strong attendee experience
- Prepares briefing materials, talking points, and presentation collateral for senior staff attending external events
- Represents RHG at industry events as appropriate, building relationships with developers, brokers, and investors on behalf of the development team
- Tracks and reports on event ROI — leads generated, relationships activated, and pipeline impac
4. Corporate Planning Support
- Contributes to the preparation of internal strategy documents, investor conference decks, brand collateral, and market reports
- Assists in the monitoring and analysis of competitor pipelines, regional signing performance, and brand positioning across SEA
- Supports the development team in implementing strategic objectives set by regional leadership
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of experience in hotel development, hospitality real estate, investment, feasibility, consulting, or relevant business development activities
- Proven track record in sourcing hotel development opportunities.
- Experience working with international hotel operators, developers, owners, and institutional investors.
- Understanding of hotel management agreements, franchise agreements, and lease structures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint tools.
