- Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to agreed specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, plant rooms, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Maintain accurate engineering records, maintenance logs, equipment histories, compliance documentation, and statutory certifications.
- Support capital expenditure projects, renovations, refurbishments, and installation of new equipment, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with all departments to ensure seamless hotel operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Participate in the Manager on Duty (MOD) roster and respond effectively to operational emergencies, equipment failures, and crisis situations as required.
- Promote a safe working environment by ensuring adherence to health, safety, and security procedures while encouraging safe work practices among all team members.
- Perform regular follow-up on internal and external audit findings, ensuring corrective actions are completed within agreed timelines.
