Job Description

The Cluster Assistant Training & Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives across Radisson Colombo Hotel, Radisson Kandy Hotel, and Radisson Blu Galle Resort. This role ensures that each property’s L&D in-charge is effectively guided, supported, and aligned with corporate standards. The manager will drive training excellence, monitor Typsy training targets, and deliver measurable results in employee performance and guest satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

Cluster oversight: Supervise and coordinate L&D activities across the three Radisson properties, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand standards.

Team guidance: Mentor and support the L&D in-charge at each property, providing direction, resources, and feedback to strengthen training delivery.

Training needs analysis: Identify skill gaps and training requirements across departments, designing programs to meet operational and service excellence goals.

Typsy training management: Monitor and ensure achievement of Typsy training targets, tracking completion rates and effectiveness.

Performance monitoring: Evaluate training outcomes, measure ROI, and report on progress to senior leadership.

Program development: Create and implement innovative training modules tailored to hospitality service standards and Radisson brand values.

Compliance & standards: Ensure all training programs comply with Radisson Hotel Group policies and local regulations.

Result-driven culture: Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, driving measurable improvements in guest satisfaction scores and employee engagement.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Learning & Development within hospitality or service industries.

Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple properties and deliver consistent results.
