We are now searching for a Cluster IT Manager covering our Oslo hotels and Area Support Office. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be a part of a great IT team with colleagues all around Europe. The position is based in Oslo.
If you are the hands-on type who enjoys working with support and translating problems into solutions, as well as maintaining different systems, then this role is for you!
You are a self-driven person with a focus on high quality and business profits, always delivering quality results. You are motivated by order, responsibility, and accountability, yet open for new experiences, projects and tasks.
This role is critical to hotel operations and guest experience. You will ensure stable, secure, and compliant IT environments while working closely with hotel management, external IT partners, and central IT teams.
If you enjoy combining operational IT, project delivery, and stakeholder collaboration, this role offers both variety and responsibility.
The IT function is considered a support function to the primary operation of the company. It is therefore important that the Cluster IT Manager views his/her position in that light and acts as a service function within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execution of established Hotel IT Activities to ensure smooth operation of our hotels.
- Own end‑to‑end IT operations across assigned hotels and support offices, ensuring compliance with Radisson Hotel Group IT standards, security policies, and SOPs
- System administration and operation, license management and vendor coordination.
- Overview and Management of User IT Support; working with External Partners to ensure quality of all levels of service.
- Deliver and coordinate IT projects (infrastructure, systems, upgrades, and openings) and oversee IT asset lifecycle (servers, workstations, POS, network equipment)
- Participate in IT budgeting, planning, cost control and CAPEX processes.
- Maintain IT documentation and SOPs to support audits and compliance (PCI‑DSS, GDPR, data protection)
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar IT management or cluster IT role
- Strong ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
- Ability to develop working relationships very quickly and gain confidence of business colleagues
- Excellent communication skills in English and a Scandinavian language
- Proven experience managing IT operations in a multi‑site environment
- Experience of setting and achieving targets and producing work of high quality to agreed deadlines and budgets.
- Hospitality, travel or service-related industries is a plus
- Willingness to travel between hotels in Oslo and occasionally across Scandinavia.
- Valid work permit for Norway or another Scandinavian country.
Knowledge of:
- IT Infrastructure management (on-premises equipment, network, switches, firewalls etc.) and hardware (servers / workstations / POS etc.) and lifecycle management.
- Windows Server management (Active Directory / DNS / DHCP / GPO, etc.) and Windows OS support.
- Hotel-critical systems such as Wi-Fi / guest network, PMS, POS, IPTV, PABX, BMS and door lock integration.
- IT security standards, SOP implementation.
- Customer/User Support, including experience with ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow).
- Vendor and supplier management.
- Project Management skills – ideally experience with managing and coordinating projects across several business units, departments and countries.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with clients, key stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Experience in hospitality IT is an advantage but not a requirement. This role does not have direct reports but works closely with external and regional IT teams.
