A. Primary Focus of the Function:

B. Mission:
The Group Consultant (Leisure Desk) supports the strategic plans and objectives of the Leisure Desk Department. The function should be supportive, hands-on, methodical and business focused, creating memorable moments for our guests, taking ownership for assigned activities whilst collaborating closely with their immediate report and key business partners to deliver quality results.
The role will be responsible for leisure group enquiries and end-to-end planning for the Nordic leased hotels, setting an example on how best to sell the portfolio of hotels within the cluster to achieve the required growth in revenue conversion.
The job incumbent acts as an ambassador for the brand, reflecting the company culture and values. All work is carried out in accordance with company corporate policies, procedures and service concepts according to local requirements and regulations.
C. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all enquiries are answered to RHG standard within the agreed time frame, where all aspects of the client and guest experience are delivered to the highest levels, ensuring company standards are attained and adhered to.
- Completing the agreed enquiry process through to signed contract stage, ensuring that all RHG tools are used to maximize conversion and sales opportunities.
- Responsible for doing end-to-end planning for the Nordic leased hotels and supporting another Club/Cluster when needed.
- Take the lead on industry scope, where appropriate, setting an example on industry/event knowhow, understanding related T&C, contract specific items and/or M&E channel enquiry process, how best to sell the portfolio of hotels within the cluster to achieve the required growth in revenue conversion.
- Participate in the conversion of inbound and outbound enquiries (where applicable) across all platforms. Contributing a sales hungry culture within the team to capture all available opportunities for the Radisson Hotel Group. Proactively always look for new opportunities and cross sell
- Takes responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maximize client and guest satisfaction, deliering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.
- Support and deliver on the strategies and objectives of the Leisure Desk department taking ownership for assigned areas of responsibility.
- Develops and builds own skills, knowledge and experience at every opportunity within the Leisure desk and M&E department, which aligns with the culture of growth, development and performance expected by the company.
- Collaborates with the Head of Department and line managers, ensuring that departmental inventory is maintained, that productivity targets are achieved and performance levels are attained
- Build and maintain effective working relationships, communicating with key stakeholders whilst promoting the company culture and values.
- Provides detailed communication lines between the Hotel team, General Managers, Sales and Revenue Centre for enquiry transition, escalation and any associated meeting requirements. Attendance as required to properties to establish and maintain relationships with key members of staff as well as any ad hoc FAM Trips, client/site visits
- Ensures adherence to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.
