We are seeking an energetic, results-driven Cluster Director of Sales to lead the commercial strategy for a portfolio comprising three Dubai city hotels and one resort in Ras Al Khaimah. This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, business expansion and the cultural transformation required to support the portfolio's ambitious objectives.
The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in hotel and hospitality sales leadership and will demonstrate a proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies that maximize market share, revenue performance, and profitability. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing effective sales plans, pricing strategies, promotional campaigns and business development initiatives aligned with the overall commercial goals of the hotels. In addition to maintaining effective communication, teamwork and strong collaborative relationships with hotel sales teams, executive management and General Managers across the portfolio.
Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, ability to build high-performing sales teams and long-term client relationships are essential.
- Leads the strategic commercial efforts to drive revenue, focusing on maximizing occupancy and rates across leisure, corporate, and MICE to all cluster properties
- Develops and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, drive business growth, and maximize profitability. Creates and executes effective sales plans, including pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and market analysis.
- Ensures the smooth running of the sales department, where all aspects of the hotel’s pro-active sales initiatives are delivered and total revenue maximised, ensuring both property and company standards are attained and adhered to.
- Works proactively to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.
- Develops and implements strategies where key sales metrics are identified, communicated and delivered where reports and tracking tools are effectively maintained in line with defined initiatives & targets.
- Maintains an effective business communication level with all Hotels sales team, management and General/Hotel Managers; in addition, builds and maintains strong working relationships with all key stakeholders and partners both internal and external ensuring all communications/activities are controlled and undertaken in a timely manner.
