Job Description

The Cluster Director of Sales is responsible for driving commercial performance across Radisson Hotel Group properties in Madagascar. The role focuses on delivering sustainable revenue growth, expanding market share and developing strategic partnerships while ensuring alignment with Radisson brand standards and exceptional guest experiences.

Working closely with the Cluster General Manager, Revenue Management, Marketing & Communications and operational teams, the Cluster Director of Sales ensures the successful execution of the commercial strategy across the cluster. The role also collaborates with the Radisson Hotel Group Regional Commercial Team for Africa to support regional initiatives and ensure alignment with global commercial standards.

The Cluster Director of Sales reports directly to the Cluster General Manager and works in close collaboration with the Radisson Hotel Group Regional Commercial Team for Africa.

Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and implement the cluster sales strategy aligned with Radisson Hotel Group commercial objectives
  • Drive revenue growth across corporate, MICE, leisure and travel trade segments
  • Monitor sales performance through KPIs and maintain a strong pipeline of business opportunities

Business Development

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities locally and internationally
  • Develop strategic partnerships with corporate clients, embassies, airlines, institutions and event organizers
  • Represent the hotels at networking events, trade shows and industry platforms

Client Relationships & Guest Experience

  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic partners
  • Ensure seamless coordination with operational teams for groups and events
  • Support a culture where commercial success and guest satisfaction go hand in hand

Leadership & Commercial Collaboration

  • Lead and develop high-performing sales teams across the cluster
  • Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture
  • Work closely with Revenue Management and Marketing & Communications to optimize commercial performance

Commercial Systems

  • Utilize Radisson Hotel Group commercial systems including CRM platforms and SAP Sales Cloud
  • Ensure accurate tracking of sales activities, pipeline management and reporting

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally in a leadership role
  • Hospitality experience is an advantage, particularly within corporate, MICE or travel trade segments
  • Strong background in corporate sales, B2B development or key account management
  • Candidates from industries such as hospitality, banking, aviation, services or large corporate environments may also be considered
  • Experience in multi-property or complex commercial environments is a plus
