Job Description
We are currently seeking a Building & Engineering Technician to join our vibrant team. As a Building & Engineering Technician, you play a vital role in ensuring our properties deliver an experience beyond expectation, creating memorable moments for our guests.
Maintenance & Repairs
Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
Respond to maintenance requests from departments and guest rooms in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot and repair faults in building equipment and systems.
Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean and in good working condition.
Preventive Maintenance
Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance according to the maintenance plan.
Monitor building systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
Assist in maintaining maintenance logs and service records.
Facilities & Equipment
Inspect lighting systems, air-conditioning units, water supply systems, and other building infrastructure.
Ensure the proper functioning of safety equipment and building facilities.
Report any defects, hazards, or maintenance concerns to the Engineering Supervisor.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all safety procedures and hotel policies when performing maintenance work.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Use appropriate tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing duties.
Operational Support
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property maintenance with excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent managerial skills with a hands-on approach and lead- by-example work style
- Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
- Ability to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations
