We are now looking for a Bartender to join our brand-new team at Radisson RED Reykjavik.

Our Sky Bar will be at the heart of the hotel’s energy, offering guests a vibrant, wine-led experience paired with breathtaking views over Reykjavík.
As Bartender, you’ll be right at the centre of it all - creating connections, serving great drinks and bringing the atmosphere to life.
Job Description
As a Bartender, you are a natural host with a passion for creating memorable moments. You thrive in a fast-paced, social environment and love engaging with guests, delivering service that is both relaxed and high quality.
In our wine-led Sky Bar and in our ground floor bar, you’ll play a key role in shaping the guest experience - from recommending the perfect glass of wine to creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. You will:
- Deliver exceptional bar service, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable and engaging experience
- Confidently recommend, serve and upsell wines and beverages, creating a personalised experience for guests
- Create a lively and welcoming atmosphere, bringing energy and personality to every interaction
- Prepare and serve drinks efficiently and to a high standard, maintaining consistency and quality
- Engage with guests, building rapport and enhancing their overall experience
- Work closely with your team to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation and presentation of the bar area at all times
- Support stock control and ensure responsible handling of products
- Follow all health & safety, hygiene and licensing regulations
- Step in and support other Front of House areas when needed, contributing to the overall guest experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality role is preferred but not essential
- Interest in or knowledge of wine is highly desirable
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- A natural host with confidence and personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, Yes I Can! attitude and flexible approach to work
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
- A team player who enjoys collaborating with others
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Icelandic is an advantage
