Our Food & Beverage Service Team are the final piece of the puzzle, they are sophisticated hosts with an instinctive ability to anticipate guests’ needs by being in the right place at the right time and delivering a hospitality experience that goes above and beyond - creating memorable moments for our guests.

MAIN OBJECTIVES

Increase customer satisfaction by delivering efficient, prompt, and courteous service to bar / Restaurant guests in accordance with general hotel rules and corporate service standards of RHG.

GENERAL DUTIES

• Respect work schedule, discipline and standards established by labor laws and internal regulations
• Fulfill duties described in the job description and tasks per job performance standards
• Comply with occupational health and safety rules and fire prevention norms
• Act with integrity, responsibility, collaboration, mutual respect, and professional solidarity
• Maintain respectful behavior and language with colleagues, superiors, and clients;
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all operations and work performed during the employment period
• Keep salary information confidential during the entire employment period

SPECIFIC DUTIES

• Promptly and politely serve orders to bar/restaurant clients
• Take all food and drink orders, verify, and record them accurately in the operating system (Micros)
• Ensure proper appearance of drinks
• Periodically check if clients need anything
• Inform clients of last call
• Properly process client checks
• Arrange bar area furniture as needed
• Ensure the bar area is well-stocked, clean, and orderly at all times
• Maintain solid knowledge of bar menu, wine and beer list, and drink ingredients to advise clients and upsell
• Promote additional sales professionally and politely
• Coordinate with the Bar/Restaurant Manager regarding arrangements and reservations
• Handle intoxicated customers appropriately
• Understand and comply with alcohol and spirits policies and regulations
• Frequently check the restaurant reservation list during the shift
• Ensure spirits are locked and secured at end of shift
• Submit to security agent checks for order registration in Micros
• Maintain professional attire and demeanor; avoid leaning on bar or shouting
• Do not consume food or drinks during service
• Participate in inventories and spot checks; know stock levels and communicate needs to purchasing department
