As the Sales Manager, you infuse our dynamic Sales Team with an unparalleled level of strategic vision, a results-driven mindset, and an unwavering passion for elevating customer interactions. Your role as a leader is pivotal in steering our sales efforts to new heights, and your ambition sets the tone for achieving exceptional outcomes.
- Maintains good relations and solicits daily room night production of groups and conference business from the existing accounts to meet sales targets.
- Organizes VIP’s arrivals, welcomes and provides them with assistance during their stay upon needs according to Radisson Collection Residences, Riyadh standards and to meet guest satisfaction.
- Plans sales activities by identifying potential customers, organizing sales calls and sales blitz to develop new business.
- Negotiates new contracts and renewals to meet sales targets.
- Coordinates with Front Office, Banqueting and Food & Beverage Department all specific guest requirements from Markets.
- Prepares a monthly sales activity report on the concerned Market, including companies and tour & travel agents.
- To define key strategies and tactics (in line with the marketing plan) for the regional segment in order to generate incremental revenue.
- Achieve monthly budget goals and new business targets.
- Set up and maintain good working relationships with all other areas of the hotel’s operations, such as Front Office, Food and Beverage, Accounting, Reservations etc.
- Follow-up with clients before, during and after the function/event/stay to ensure repeat business.
- No challenging emails or verbal communication will be entertained within internal and external guests.
- Highly motivated and carrying high degree of character is a must.
- Handle complaints and pass to Director of Sales & Marketing.
- To make professional presentations to key clients.
- To develop incentive schemes for local clients.
- To make sales calls to local clients.
- Research and present lost business reports at the Monthly Sales Meetings.
- Provide Director of Sales with weekly sales report.
- Attend various trade shows, functions as when required.
- Maintain familiarity with analyse the competition from other hotels which will be designated.
- Contribute to overall market plan.
- Participate in training programs.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.
- To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety.
- To ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and rectified immediately.
- To understand and strictly adhere to the Hotel’s Employee rules & regulations.
- To report for duty punctually always wear the correct uniform and name tag.
- Perform any other duties as assigned to him/her by management.
- Achieve sales goals by managing the sales team.
- A proven track record in a similar role within a quality environment and to be able to demonstrate excellent standards and sales productivity.
- Commercially astute, multi-tasker who is motivated by challenge.
- Driven and ambitious to increase productivity and sales volume with appropriate techniques.
- Clear thinker with excellent communication abilities and attention to detail
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to enhance the hotels community image.
