Job Description
We are looking for an energetic and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our Kitchen Department on a flexible basis. This role supports the kitchen team with food preparation, cleanliness, organization, and day-to-day kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain hygiene standards, and contribute positively to the team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient handling.
Support chefs and kitchen staff during meal preparation and service.
Wash, clean, and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
Ensure kitchen areas remain clean and organized at all times.
Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock and ingredients.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness standards.
Support the team with additional kitchen-related tasks as required.
Qualifications
Previous kitchen or food service experience is an advantage.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Flexible availability, including mornings,evenings, weekends, or holidays if required.
Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate loads.
