Job Description
It is responsibility of cost controller to audit the activities of the materials management department.
Prepare daily and monthly reports relating to cost of sales.
Prepare figures on General Stores issues such as Guest Supplies usage against budget.
Checking data entry of material management employees and correcting when necessary.
Auditing inventory transactions make the commissary (pasty and butchery) and outlet kitchens for the purposes of inventory control and potential costing.
Maintaining records of inventory transactions, ensuring their accuracy and authorization.
Perform inventory stock count by the end of month, reconcile and investigate any differences arising from the result.
Performs balance sheet reconciliation for Inventory (food, beverage, general, engineering)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Two years accounting experience, preferable in a hospitality environment
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with accounting software
Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork
