Job Description

  • Oversee full laundry operations supporting 567 rooms, 11 meeting rooms, 1 ballroom, recreation and sports club facilities, and 15 restaurants.
  • Drive business growth through effective management and expansion of laundry services, including the existing three outlets, development of new outlets, and implementation of innovative ideas.
  • Ensure efficient processing and timely distribution of linens, uniforms, and guest laundry across all departments.
  • Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and quality standards across all laundry operations.
  • Manage and control linen inventory to meet operational requirements for rooms, F&B outlets, and events.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and operational efficiency.
  • Lead, train, and develop the laundry team to drive productivity and service excellence.
  • Plan and manage staff schedules in line with occupancy levels and operational demands.
  • Prepare, monitor, and control the department budget to ensure cost effectiveness.
  • Optimize the use of chemicals, water, and energy in line with sustainability goals.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and optimal performance of all laundry equipment.
  • Coordinate with Engineering for preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
  • Oversee guest laundry services, ensuring prompt handling and resolution of any issues.
  • Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Events, and Food & Beverage teams to support seamless operations.
  • Monitor operational performance, analyze key metrics, and implement continuous improvement strategies.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in laundry operations within a hotel environment, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
  3. Proven experience managing large-scale hotel laundry operations with high-volume demands.
  4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and motivate teams.
  5. Solid knowledge of laundry equipment, chemicals, and fabric care standards.
  6. Experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial management.
  7. Ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures and maintain quality standards.
  8. Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  9. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  10. Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.
