- Achieves budgeted goals by executing sales activities within assigned market segment.
- Assists in the development of annual sales goals.
- Assists in the completion of monthly booking report.
- Ensures own function operates within cost restraints.
- Maintains effective correspondence.
- Meets budgeted sales and profit margins for group business, by soliciting, selling, and confirming business as required.
- Develops data and recommends programs to meet clients’ needs.
- Prepares proposals with the Director of Sales that are geared to maximize profit while satisfying guest needs.
- Utilizes the “Winning Edge” sales techniques.
- Solicits files on a timely basis to confirm business.
- Uses outside sales calls to solicit existing and new guests.
- Conducts on-site client inspections and entertainment weekly.
- Contacts in-house guests to foster additional business, repeat bookings, or referrals to other Radisson Hotels.
- Coordinates activities related to booked business with other departments.
- Communicates guests requests to all departments in an effective and timely manner.
- Ensures maximum occupancy on a daily basis by performing follow-ups on progress of groups booked with Front Office.
- Increases sales volume and profitability by assisting in developing and executing
- projects for assigned market areas as stated in the Hotel Marketing Plan.
- Keeps Sales Department informed of group booking status.
- Communicates with Front Office Manager all group VIP’s for appropriate service.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality industry sales management.
- Demonstrated success in achieving room, banquet, and event sales targets.
- Strong understanding of local, corporate, travel agent, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) markets.
- Excellent ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, travel partners, and corporate accounts.
- Experience leading, training, and motivating a sales team to exceed revenue goals.
- Skilled in creating and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
- Strong presentation, networking, and contract negotiation abilities.
- Hands-on experience with hotel sales systems and CRM tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Self-motivated, well-groomed, and able to work under pressure, including weekends or evenings as required for events.
