We are now looking for a Front of House Manager to join our brand-new team at Radisson RED Hotel Reykjavik.
You will ensure that the heart and soul of Radisson RED beats loudly from the very first hello to the last goodbye. Bold, versatile, dynamic, innovative and always ahead of the curve, you will lead the Front of House area to create the REDvolution - a place where guests feel instantly connected, welcomed, and can’t wait to come back and relive the moment. From reservation to check-in and the Viewpoint to check-out, you’ll own the vibe, the energy, and the experience. With visible, hands-on leadership style, you'll bring Front Office, F&B touchpoints and guest-facing teams together to deliver seamless, unforgettable moments throughout the hotel.

At Radisson RED Reykjavik, the Front of House is the heartbeat of the hotel. As Front of House Manager, you’ll lead the teams that create powerful first impressions, drive performance across guest-facing areas, and deliver bold, seamless experiences - every single day.
You’re a hands-on leader with a strategic mindset, comfortable balancing people, performance and personality. Acting as a true RED ambassador, you’ll play a key role in shaping the hotel’s culture, energy and operational success. You will:
Lead the smooth operation of the Front of House area, including Front Office, Reservations and the Viewpoint operation, while supporting F&B and M&E service touchpoints to ensure a consistent and exceptional end-to-end guest journey
Collaborate closely with the F&B operations and leadership to support service delivery, guest flow and peak-time operations
Proactively drive guest satisfaction through a responsive, solution-focused approach to feedback and challenges
Set, track and deliver key Front of House KPIs, using insights to continuously improve performance
Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of ownership, individuality and collaboration
Manage departmental budgets, productivity and inventory to achieve agreed financial and operational targets
Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to support operational success
Deliver engaging guest initiatives, including sustainability and community-focused activities
Ensure full compliance with legislation, audits and company procedures
Plan and manage effectively staffing levels across Front of House areas in collaboration with F&B departmental needs, including shift scheduling for Front of House, absence management and timekeeping in line with local requirements.
- Proven experience in front office within the hospitality sector.
- Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
- Ability to find solutions, offering advice and recommendations
- Strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing skills.
- Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy
- Excellent ability to work collaboratively across functions and cultures in a global environment
- Solid MS-Office knowledge. Knowledge of EMMA PMS desirable
- An open, positive and communicative personality
- Ability to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignments
- Fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Icelandic is an advantage.
