We are currently seeking an Extra Porter to join our vibrant team at our Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel. We are in search of individuals who go beyond the resume – those with character, skills, talents, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
As a Porter you are an essential part of the guest journey and a true first impression of our hotel. From welcoming guests on arrival to ensuring smooth departures, you help create seamless and memorable experiences through attentive service, efficiency, and a genuine Yes I Can! attitude. You work closely with the Front Office team to ensure the lobby and guest areas are always welcoming, organized, and ready to impress.
Handling luggage to and from the luggage room and guest rooms in a safe and efficient manner.
Welcoming individual guests and groups, coordinating luggage handling according to scheduled arrival and departure times.
Assisting guests with taxi bookings and providing recommendations and directions around Stockholm.
Supporting the Front Office team when needed and assisting with guest requests.
Ensuring the lobby is welcoming, well-presented, and in order at all times.
Maintaining the Welcome Corner, ensuring it is fully stocked and correctly set up daily.
Ensuring all materials and equipment required for daily operations are available and in place.
Qualifications
- Flexibility and a positive, Yes I Can! Attitude
- An eye for detail
- Is a creative problem-solver
- Passionate about creating extraordinary service
- Ability to work as part of a team to ensure guest satisfaction
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in Swedish
- Likes having fun at work
- Experience in a similar position is beneficial but not essential
