Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas and specialty drinks in accordance with hotel standards.
• Provide courteous, professional and efficient service to ensure excellent guest satisfaction.
• Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately and maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Maintain beverage presentation standards, including latte art where required.
• Promote outlet offerings, daily specials and signature beverages through effective upselling.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station, equipment and service areas.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of espresso machines, grinders and related equipment.
• Follow hotel safety, sanitation and food allergy awareness procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment and preparation for daily operations.
• Work collaboratively with team members while maintaining a positive “Yes I Can” service attitude.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Barista in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or upscale café.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, espresso extraction and various brewing techniques.
- Skilled in preparing espresso-based beverages, specialty coffees and premium teas to high presentation standards.
- Ability to perform latte art and maintain consistency in taste, texture and appearance.
- Excellent guest service skills with a warm, engaging and professional personality.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages will be an advantage.
- Well-groomed appearance in line with luxury hospitality standards.
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards (HACCP knowledge preferred).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong upselling skills and ability to promote signature beverages and outlet offerings.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Age between 20–30 years preferred.
- Female candidates are preferred.
