Job Description
We are currently seeking an Audio Visual Technician. At Radisson Hotel Brunei, we are in search of individuals who go beyond the resume – those with character, skills, talents, and a passion for creating memorable experiences. As an Audio Visual Technician, you are responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment to support meetings, conferences, events, and hotel operations, ensuring a high-quality guest experience at all times
- Set up, operate, and dismantle audio-visual equipment including microphones, speakers, mixers, projectors, LED screens, TVs, lighting, and conferencing systems
- Ensure all AV equipment is functioning properly before, during, and after events
- Provide on-site technical support during meetings, conferences, banquets, and special events
- Assist guests, clients, and colleagues with AV requirements and technical queries
- Liaise with Event Sales, Banquet, and Operations teams to understand AV requirements
- Attend pre-event briefings and conduct AV checks prior to event start
- Remain on standby during events to resolve any technical issues promptly
- Support hybrid or virtual meetings (Zoom, Teams, video conferencing systems)
- Conduct regular inspection, testing, and basic maintenance of AV equipment
- Report faulty or damaged equipment to the relevant department
- Maintain accurate records of AV equipment usage and inventory
- Ensure proper storage and handling of AV equipment

- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Certificate or Diploma in Audio Visual Technology, Electronics, IT, or related field preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in AV support, events, or hotel environment (preferred)
- Experience handling sound systems, projectors, and conferencing tools
