Job Description

1. Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock

2. To coordinate with other departments regarding storeroom operational matters where necessary.

3. To issue stocks /supplies to personnel presenting duly approved requisition forms according to SOP

4. Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs.

5. Notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner.  

 6. Work with suppliers to resolve discrepancies between invoices and actual received merchandise.

7. Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and oversee return process

8. Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related departments or areas.

9. Inspect deliveries and date times (expiry) and verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality throughout case lots.

10. Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.

11. Maintain and organize all received pallets until product is 'broken down', removed and/or stored.

12. Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash and place in proper storage areas.

13. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business administration,accounting or any other relevant finance field

Basic understanding of Sage & Material Control (MC)

Minimum 3+ Year of related field experience

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word,excel)Consistent, accurate, and thorough with an eye for details

Exceptional organizational skills and aptitude for numbers

Excellent communication ,teamwork and interpersonal skills

Able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
