MAXIMISES HOTEL REVENUE AND GUEST SATISFACTION
- Part of the hotel's Quality Focus Group - at this meeting to report on the relevant Revinate scores, Medallia and TripAdvisor comments
- Daily checking and answering Medallia, Trip Advisor, and other online sites (answers to be discussed with the GM)
- Checking and updating the hotel's homepage
- Ensuring the Hotel's Social Media Policy is followed in regard to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc
- Ensure that appropriate adverts for the internet and email footers are developed to reflect the hotel's services
- Organizing and participating in GM's monthly Cocktail for in-house hotel guests
- Organizing and participating in the hotel's monthly Cocktail for VIPs of Freetown
- Ensure that relevant hotel information is posted on the D-Rezidorian
- . Work closely with DOS on all aspects that have to do with PR
- Know and understand the Radisson Blu Brand standards so that our messaging is correct and as per the required standards
- To regularly send an email newsletter to the local Freetown market - this is to attract all to come and use the hotel.
- Be Social Business Co-ordinator
- Identify press opportunities internally and externally
- Keep a record/diary of all press communication activity
- Ensure all hotel collaterals and marketing materials are in Line with QPR and brand standards (ref. Graphic toolkit)
- Create and provide content regularly to the Director, content factory, for a wider international presence.
- Take advantage of internal and external marketing tools to create the much-desired mileage in the market (Club Carlson, Blogs, One Touch app, RD Service concepts,
Responsible Business...)

- Follows all applicable laws, corporate standards, and guidelines
HEALTH AND SAFETY
- Maintains high confidentiality in regards to guest privacy
- Ensures that all potential and real hazards are reported appropriately
- Fully understands the hotel's fire and emergency procedures
- Follows emergency procedures to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees
- Works in a safe manner that does not harm or injure oneself or others
- Supports a state hotel by applying hotel regulations. and adhering to existing laws and regulations
- Anticipates possible and probable hazards and conditions and notifies the
- Revenue Manager
- Maintains the highest standards of personal hygiene. dress. uniform appearance. body language and conduct
MISCELLANEOUS
- Responsible Business: show involvement and be interested in environmental and/or social issues by participating in the Responsible Business hotel and departmental activities
- Attends meetings and training required by the Revenue Manager
- Assist colleagues to perform similar or related jobs after approval of the Revenue Manager / Sales & Marketing Manager
- Guest satisfaction by attending to their requests and inquiries courteously and efficiently
- Accepts flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to hotel guests
- Maintains own working area, and materials lean, tidy, and in good shape: reports defective materials and equipment to the Revenue Manager.
- Continuously seeks to endeavor, and improve knowledge of own job function
- Knows
- Hotel facilities and nearby sights of interest and importance (i.e hospital stations, tourist sights)
- Hotel standards of operation and departmental procedures
- Accepted methods of payment by the hotel
- Hotel's credit policy
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in public relations, Communication, Marketing Journalism or a related Field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in PR, social media managements or communications
- Experience in content creation, media outreach, and social media strategy
