Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a Payable & Treasury Accountant to oversee the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments, manage the hotel’s cash flow, and coordinate all treasury-related activities. The ideal candidate will ensure full compliance with Radisson Blu Hotel Group accounting standards, Rwanda statutory requirements, and internal control policies, while upholding the highest standards of financial integrity, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Core Responsibilities.
1. Process supplier invoices accurately and ensure proper approvals and documentation
2. Prepare and execute payments in line with hotel policies and cash flow plans.
3. Monitor and reconcile accounts payable balances and supplier statements.
4. Manage daily cash flow and prepare regular cash forecasts.
5. Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies promptly
6. Ensure tax compliance, including VAT, WHT, and other statutory payments.
7. Maintain accurate supplier records and ensure timely resolution of queries
8. Support month-end closing through payable reports, accruals, and reconciliations.
9. Ensure adherence to internal controls and Radisson Blu accounting standards.
10. Liaise with internal departments and suppliers to ensure smooth financial operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business administration,accounting or any other relevant finance fieldBasic
understanding of Sage and Internet bankingMinimum 3+ Year of related field experience
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word,excel)Consistent, accurate, and thorough with an eye for details
Exceptional organizational skills and aptitude for numbers
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
