Job Description

Do you have a knack for orchestrating seamless Food & Beverage Operations, ensuring both the front and back of house are finely tuned?

We are currently seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to join our vibrant team here at Radisson Blu Hotel, Bodø.

As the Food & Beverage Manager, you bring a heightened level of expertise, a results-driven approach, and a genuine passion for elevating the dining experience to our dynamic F&B Team.

Key Focus Areas

  • Guest Experience & Quality: Ensure a high standard across all F&B outlets, from breakfast to bar and meeting & events.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the team with empathy and clarity, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.
  • Commercial Impact: Drive profitability through smart planning, upselling, and cost control.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to understand quiet periods and actively develop initiatives to attract new business.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain smooth daily operations, with a strong focus on planning, detail, and compliance.
  • Offer Drafting: Supports the Sales team in crafting compelling and accurate F&B proposals.
  • Staff and Vacation Planning: Organizes team schedules efficiently, balancing business needs and staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or Business (preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in F&B leadership roles, ideally in hotels or upscale restaurants.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, inventory tools, and basic reporting.
  • Food & Beverage Expertise: Solid experience and a genuine interest in food and drink trends, presentation, and service.
  • Alcohol license (Skjenkebevilling): Must hold or be eligible for a valid alcohol serving license.
  • Long-Term Planning: Ability to think ahead and plan for seasonal changes, staffing, and business needs.
  • Experienced with Leading a Team: Hands-on and visible leader with a passion for hospitality
  • Calm Under Pressure: Maintains composure and leads effectively during busy or challenging moments.
  • Client-Facing & Solution-Oriented: Comfortable meeting with clients and tailoring F&B solutions to their needs.
  • Eye for Detail: Ensures quality and consistency in presentation, service, and guest experience.
  • Commercial focus: Commercially curious and always looking for ways to improve.
  • Profitability Focus: Always considers the financial impact of decisions and actions.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Builds trust and rapport across departments and with guests.
