Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently.
Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff regarding guest flow and special requests.
Present menus and provide initial information about the restaurant’s offerings.
Monitor dining areas to anticipate guest needs and support service.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests courteously and promptly.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the entrance and host/hostess stand.
Assist with coordinating large parties or special events.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen/bar.
Serve dishes and drinks according to restaurant standards.
Check back with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
Upsell and recommend dishes or beverages to enhance the dining experience.
Handle guest complaints or issues professionally and escalate if necessary.
Prepare tables, set up cutlery, and maintain a clean dining area.
Process payments accurately and follow cash handling procedures.
Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and welcoming attitude.
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment.
Previous experience in hospitality or guest-facing roles preferred.
Fluency in English (Arabic language a plus).
Previous experience as a waitress/server in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Basic math skills for handling payments.
