Job Description
Do you enjoy keeping things in order and making sure every detail adds up? Join us as a General Accountant – Payables and play a key role in ensuring our suppliers and partners are paid accurately and on time. At Al Seef House, every role matters in creating a seamless guest experience.
What you’ll do:
Handle all accounts payable transactions – invoices, payments, and postings
Verify supplier invoices and match them with purchase orders/contracts
Prepare payment runs and reconcile vendor accounts
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Ensure compliance with company policies and support internal/external audits
Work closely with Purchasing and other departments to resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in payables or general accounting
Strong attention to detail and knowledge of accounting principles
Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
A collaborative mindset with good communication skills
Organized, reliable, and deadline-driven
