Job Description

  • To welcome customers.
  • To ensure that all guests checking in and out are offered help with their luggage.
  • To assist guests in every way possible.
  • To maintain a presence in the lobby so that there is always somebody available to answer guest’s queries.
  • To ensure that the lobby and entrance area are always clean and tidy in line with the hotel’s standard.
  • To park customer’s cars.
  • The ability to use one’s initiative.
  • The ability to work in a team or alone.
  • Practices ‘Yes I Can’ attitude

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a 4 to 5 star hotel or hospitality environment preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training or certification is an asset.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills to provide a warm and professional guest experience.
  • Physical fitness and stamina – able to lift, carry, and transport guest luggage safely and efficiently.
  • Professional appearance and grooming in line with hotel standards.
  • Thorough knowledge of the hotel’s layout and local attractions, transportation options, and amenities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple guest requests smoothly.
  • Reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to upholding the hotel’s service and brand standards.
